Wilma Winifred Berry October 3, 1916 October 9, 2016 Salem, Oregon Wilma was born along with her twin sister, Wanda, to Harry and Lenora Goodwin on October 3, 1916 in Gates, Oregon, and died on October 9, 2016 in Salem, Oregon. She was 100 years old. Wilma grew up and graduated from high school in Gates, Oregon. She married Roland Charles Berry on September 27, 1941, and they lived for many years in Stayton. They had one daughter, Sharon Diane. Charles padded away in 2002 and Sharon passed away in 2015. Wilma worked for a time at the Stayton Cannery, but the focus of her life was her family. She and Charles were married for many years and thoroughly enjoyed their life together in Stayton. She was a wonderful homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Wilma also enjoyed caring for her roses. The last several years of her life she lived at the Farmington Square care center in Salem where she was wonderfully cared for by the staff. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Charles Berry; daughter, Sharon Diane Berry; twin sister, Wanda; and brothers Robert, Raymond (Duke), and Linn. She is survived by her granddaughter, Traci Dawn Cooper; great-granddaughter, Kristina Elizabeth Cooper; others of her extended family; and a whole host of friends.
