Wilda Mae Lesemann

Wilda Mae Lesemann was born on January 7, 1920 in Newkirk, Oklahoma to Dewey and Ruth (VanCleave) Weddle.  After high school Wilda would graduate from beauty school. A few years after high school, she would meet Alfred Lesemann and the two would be married on June 10, 1941 in Lamar, Missouri.  This would be the start of 70 years of marriage until Alfred’s passing in 2011.  After getting married the two would move to the Portland, Oregon area where Wilda would go to work for Providence Hospital as a housekeeper.  In 1980 though the couple would retire, putting down roots in Turner, Oregon. On April 2, 2020 Wilda passed away in Turner, Oregon.  She was preceded in passing by her parents, Dewey and Ruth; loving husband, Alfred; and brother, Robert. A private inurnment will take place in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  Memorial contributions can be made to Turner Retirement Home at 5405 Boise St SE, Turner, OR 97392.
