Wayne William Kirsch

Aumsville-Wayne Kirsch, 80, passed away January 14, 2022 from heart complications at the Salem Hospital. He was born to Alvin and Rita Kirsch in Sublimity, Oregon. He worked in the wood mill industry most of his life in Lyons, Oregon. Also, for some years, Wayne worked for Gene Cole, slaughtering as well as cutting meat in Lyons, Oregon. His favorite hobbies were woodworking, making furniture pieces, and loved to BBQ. Wayne always found a way to make everyone laugh and smile with his funny jokes. He is survived by his wife, Vera Courtney-Kirsch of 26 years, and his son Randy (Edie) Kirsch. He also had three grandchildren: Amanda and Tyler of Scott Kirsch, Mikayla (Ryan) Wendell of Randy Kirsch, and his great grandchildren, Lila and Evan Wendel. He also had stepchildren and grandchildren that he loved dearly. Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Scott Kirsch, his mother Rita Miller and father Alvin Kirsch. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
