Wanda Lucille Dryden passed away on September 9, 2022, in Salem, Oregon after a brave fight with cancer. She was born on July 23, 1942, in Lodi California to John and Lucille (Pollock) Bishop. She was raised with her five siblings, Barry, Karen, Johnny, Brenda, and Troy. Wanda graduated from high school and later attended some college.
Most of her life she worked in the restaurant industry, she even owned a restaurant with her brother Barry in California.
Her most important job in life was that of being a mother to her three children, Janene, Robert, and Terrie. Throughout Wanda's life she lived between Texas and Oregon, but always considered the Pacific Northwest home.
Wanda had many passions in life, she loved the outdoors and plants, she could grow anything from a seed. She loved to take photos of family every chance she had, even if you didn't want to. The holidays were her favorite time of year, she always made them special. She loved music and to dance, it was not uncommon for her to drag her brother on the dance floor. She was an amazing cook and could make a meal out of anything. Wanda was a woman of God, which in her final days brought her much comfort. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille in 1945; son, Robert B. Agard who passed September 7, 1975; her father, John; two brothers, Barry and Troy and a granddaughter, Angela.
She is survived by her daughters, Janene L. Gust and Terrie N. Weigel; siblings, Karen, Johnny, and Brenda; grandchildren, Robert, Lacey, Samantha, and Jessie and twelve great grandchildren. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. The burial took place at Aumsville Cemetery.
