February 28, 1930 December 26, 2013 Walter Louis Nation was born in Carlisle, Arkansas to Henryetta and Walter Kitty Nation. He was a farmer and raised rice and cotton as his crops. He moved to Oregon in 1992. He enjoyed blue grass music and attended many festivals. He is survived by his daughter; Debbie Dare, sisters; Carra Pruett, Martha Snead, Patsy Cook, Charlotte Cates, Doris Gleason, grandchildren; Matthew, Terry, Caroline, Elizabeth, Chandler and Lindsay, great grandchildren; Riley and Olivia. He was preceded in death by daughter; Benita Kay Wilkins, sister; Lavada Pruett. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Weddle Funeral Services. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
