Walter And Freba Magby

Walter was born near Stringtown,  Oklahoma on April 13, 1939 and passed on August 23, 2021.  Freba was born in Lodi, California on August 20, 1943. She passed on September 2, 2021.  Walter Hester Magby and Freba Inez Moore were married on December 2nd, 1960  at the Church of Christ, in Oakland, Oregon.   Walter and Freba moved to Aumsville, in 1983, and they lived there 38 years.  Walter and Freba pastored at the Aumsville Pentecostal Church Of God for 35 years.   They are survived by their 3 children. Debra D. Magby, of Salem, Oregon, Rondeeda A. Magby, of Aumsville, Oregon, and Walter Hester Magby Jr., of Aumsville, Oregon. They had 9 grandchildren, Clifton White, Shelby Wyler, Megan Evers, Kaeleigh Miller, Stephanie Gandy, Lacey Miller, Amber Magby, Devon Magby, Isaac Miller.    They had 15 great grandchildren, Makayla, Dani Rae, Haylie Ann, Raeleigh, Gannon, Andreyes, Adan, Justin, Carter, Noah, Kinsley, Paisley, Braelyn, Mya, and Cara.  Walter was a truck driver at a Amerimax, in Stayton, Oregon, as well as a Foster parent of over a 130 children. Walter was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in Guam.  Walter received an honorable discharge. Walter received his high school diploma in Stillwater,  Oklahoma.  Walter and Freba were members of the Pentecostal Church Of God, of Oregon and Southern Idaho districts.   Walter's hobbies were making trikes out of cars and motorcycles. Walter enjoyed his cows. Walter worked hard and provided well for his family.   Walter's siblings are Carol, Roe, Sandra, Lloyd, Porter, and Celeste. Walter is proceeded in death by his parents, Burl and Alice Magby, and his sister Carol Stanton.  Freba Magby received her GED at Klamath Falls, Oregon.  Freba pastored alongside her husband, Walter, at the Aumsville Pentecostal Church Of God, for 35 years. Freba was also a foster parent for over a 130 kids.   Freba loved caring for her family, her grandchildren, and her church family. She loved making flower baskets to line her driveway. Freba's favorite color was yellow and the Aumsville church was painted yellow during their time as pastors. She also loved to collect vintage purses.  Freba's siblings are Shirley. Mary, Reda, Shirl, and Carl. Freba is proceeded in death by her parents Edward Moore and Sarah Jewel Bolinger, and her siblings, Carl Moore, and Shirley Jones.
