Virginia Mae Rattay April 20, 1931 March 31, 2010 Aumsville, Oregon Virginia Mae Rattay passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at her home in Aumsville,OR.  Virginia was a long time resident of Newberg, OR.  She was born on April 20, 1931 to William Alonzo Clapshaw and Anna Marie Van Loo in Forest Grove, OR .  Virginia grew up in Hillsboro, OR. and attended St. Matthew Catholic School, Hillsboro High School and Marylhurst College. She married George Bill Rattay on February 3, 1951 and had seven children.  George preceded Virginia in death in December , 2005.  Virginia is survived by her 2 sisters, Betty Ann St. Pierre, of Portland, and Laura Davis of Hebo;  her children, Margaret Taylor and husband Glenn, Nancy Gooden and husband John  both of Newberg ; David Triston-Rattay and wife Christina of Canberra, Australia;  Marilyn Slaughter and husband Perry of Reno, Nevada; John Rattay and wife Amy of Tucson, Arizona; Richard Rattay of Milwaukie, Oregon; Steven Rattay of Aumsville, Oregon; 10 grandchildren, Melanie, Patrick, Jeffrey, Shawna, Hayley, Jennifer, Mark, Nathaniel, Harrison and Lucas; 7 great -grandchildren, Isaac, Shaianne, Jordan, Bram, Ethan, Grayson and Hayden.
