Verna spent her early years in Turner and Aumsville, Oregon, where she developed a love for learning

and a passion for the arts. As a student at Cascade High School, she found joy in singing as a member of

the school choir. It was during these formative years that Verna would meet her first husband, with

whom she would be blessed with two wonderful children, Brandy and Dalton. The family would later

move to Alaska for a short time while her husband served in the military, before ultimately returning to

Oregon and eventually divorcing.


Throughout her life, Verna dedicated herself to her family as a loving homemaker. She took immense

pride in her role as a mother and often remarked that Brandy and Dalton were her greatest

accomplishments. Verna's love for her children was evident in the countless hours spent watching

movies together, especially the Marvel films, which held a special place in her heart. She was an

exceptional cook who found joy in feeding those around her, and her home was often filled with the

aroma of her delicious, home-cooked meals.


Verna was a talented artist who loved to draw, and her creativity was a source of inspiration to those

around her. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature made her a confidante and mentor to many, and she

was always willing to lend a listening ear or offer words of wisdom. Verna had a unique ability to make
