Thomas Wesley Croy, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on March 16, 2024, in Aumsville, Oregon, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 13, 1967, in Walnut Creek, California, to Jerry Wesley Croy and Rhonda Gail (Dalton) Croy, Thomas lived a life filled with kindness, humor, and a deep devotion to his loved ones.
From the moment of his birth, Thomas possessed a compassionate spirit and a generous heart, particularly towards children and dogs. He spent his early years in California before relocating to Oregon in 2018. Despite facing health challenges that led to disability later in life, Thomas maintained his wonderful sense of humor, bringing laughter and joy to those around him until his final days.
Thomas pursued a career as a mechanic in his youth, displaying a natural talent for working with his hands. However, his passion extended far beyond his profession. He found immense joy in outdoor activities, including fishing, 4-wheeling, BMX racing, camping, and swimming. He cherished moments spent with his family, whether cooking delicious meals, engaging in friendly BBQ competitions with his sister Gail, or simply gathering together for celebrations.
Thomas's favorite pastime was fishing, and he found solace in the serene waters of Lake McClure and Pine Crest in California, as well as Detroit Lake and the Aumsville Pond in Oregon. His adventurous spirit and zest for life touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Rhonda Gail Croy; daughter, April and sister, Gail Louise Martinez, numerous grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A family gathering will be held in honor of Thomas on his birthday at Silver Creek Falls, where loved ones will come together to celebrate his life and the impact he made on those around him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Willamette Vital Health in Thomas's memory, honoring his compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others.
Thomas Wesley Croy will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.
