Thomas Henry Schwinof, a long-time resident of Lincoln City, Oregon, passed away on March 4, 2024. Born in Portland, Oregon, on January 29, 1951, he was the beloved son of Arthur Schwinof and Ruth Mojean.
Tom’s life was marked by service, creativity, and camaraderie. After proudly serving in the United States Navy for four years, he settled in Lincoln City, where he made lasting connections with the community. His passion for woodworking was evident in the beautiful pieces he crafted, many of which adorn the Snug Harbor Bar and Grill—a testament to his skill and dedication.
An avid angler, Tom relished spending time fishing with friends, sharing stories and laughter along the shoreline. His love for poker extended beyond the weekly games—he also enjoyed testing his luck in online poker rooms. But perhaps his greatest affection was reserved for his feline companions, Tom and Jerry, who brought comfort and companionship to his home.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Ruth, as well as his sister, Patti. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy will continue through the tangible beauty of his woodworking creations.
