Terry Stroud

Terry L. Stroud, 82, of Stayton, Oregon, went to join Jesus on December 26, 2023. He was a loving husband, Dad, and Pa. Terry passed peacefully at home with family.

He was born on December 12, 1941 in Bakersfield, California to the late Leora Brasher and Jesse Stroud. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patsy. Terry is survived by his blended family of eight children; his brothers Dale and Ken; his sister Judy; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that he loved dearly. He was also preceded in death by his brother Donald.

Terry was a truck driver and a business owner. He started his own company as a cedar box builder and was well known for his kindness and quality of work. He had the honor of officiating the weddings of two of his grandchildren, Kayla and Liz, and his youngest brother Kenny. He loved going for long drives with his wife, camping, and going to the beach. He loved family dinners and making memories. He loved Jesus and was a gifted writer. He wrote many memorials of passing loved ones and beautifully written words for special weddings.

Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew him. "This is not goodbye, this is see you later Pa."
