Terry Nelson Profile Photo

On a rainy October night, in the year 1969, in the town of Albany, Oregon- the legacy of Terry Nelson Sr. began. From an early age, Terry began to show a love for the outdoors and sports; for his father, Henry Nelson Sr., and mother, Susan Szczepanek, were an advocate for country living and a competitive lifestyle between his five brothers and sister. A love that would soon transpire into his first career and true passion: logging. As great as that passion was- with a young wife, two children, and more on the way- he had to think bigger. With the help of his father and brother-in-law, he then took a leap and started his own construction company, Terry Nelson Construction. From then on, Terry was determined to pass his knowledge and work ethic unto his four children: Terry Nelson Jr., Jacob Nelson, Mitchell Nelson, and Rachael Nelson. He eventually returned to his work of passion, logging, until his last moments. Many will remember him from his contagious laugh, beautiful voice, badass pool skills, and fishing expertise; and others from the smile he carried no matter what he was doing. He is survived by his girlfriend, Timbre White; and several siblings: Earl Evans, Denise Humphreys, Heath Nelson, Henry Nelson Jr., Daniel Nelson, and Joey Nelson. Despite leaving this world, his memory lives on through family, friends, and many others who's lives he touched along the way...
