Terry Michael Lindemann, commonly known as “Mr. Fixet,” passed away in his sleep at the age of 65 in Aumsville, Oregon. A beloved fixture in the community, Terry was known for his kooky inventions, endless conversations, and eagerness to help those around him in any way he could.
Terry ran his own successful business, Mr. Fixet Appliance Repair, where he quickly built a reputation for being able to fix or build just about anything. His small town fame then increased dramatically with his creative involvement in parades in Aumsville and surrounding communities. Terry was always building something, but perhaps his most well-known community contribution was a train he built entirely out of appliances. The kids of Aumsville grew to love riding in the Mr Fixet train in parades or around town and seeing it all dolled up in his front yard for various holidays.
Outside of work, Terry found joy in the companionship of his playful dog, Gracie. A rare match to Terry’s constant productive and creative energy, playing fetch with Gracie was a favorite of the town. Terry enjoyed spending his free time camping, boating, and participating in local car shows with his brothers.
Terry leaves behind a community that will deeply miss his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to their lives. He is survived by his friends, loyal customers, and all those whose lives he touched through his kindness and generosity.
The family encourages anyone with a classic car to be part of the procession going from the funeral home to the cemetery.
