Terry E. Savage

Terry E. Savage Jan. 12, 1950 – June 28, 2011 Keizer, Oregon Terry Savage was born in Bend, Oregon on Jan. 12, 1950.  He was the son of Athel and Jessie Savage.  Terry  passed peacefully away  in Salem on June 28th, at the age of  61.  Terry grew up in Mill City, Oregon among a very special group of lifelong friends.  He  graduated from Mill City High School, and attended Chemeketa  Community College for 2 yrs.   Terry  worked for UPS for more than 20 yrs. before working as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal  service.  His whole life, Terry,  was an avid outdoorsman spending free time doing what he loved most, hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and family.    He was a member of the N.R.A. and  the Oregon Hunters Association.  Some of Terry’s other pastimes included his love of corvettes and playing an afternoon round of golf with friends.   He was a doting  grandfather  and adored his  10 yr. old granddaughter, Bailey.  He will be missed by his favorite little dog “Sophia”. Terry is survived by his son and daughter in law, Chad and Leslie of Salem; granddaughter, Bailey; sisters, Rita Brown of Hermiston, Oregon  and Rebecca McClenahen  of Fredricksburg,  Virginia.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony. Memorial contributions can be made to Willamette Valley Humane Society. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 5:00 PM at Weddle Funeral Chapel Funeral services will held Wed. July 6th at  10:30 am  at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton. Vault interment at Lone Oak Cemetery, Stayton, Oregon. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
