Teresa M. Sherman

Teresa  M.  Sherman Nov. 30, 1956 – Sept. 8, 2010 Silverton, Oregon Resident Teresa M. Sherman was born at   Silverton, Oregon on the 30th day of Nov. 1956. The daughter of Ted and Pearl  Bruton.  She lived in Redmond and attended Redmond high school before she moved to Stayton in 1976 and graduated from Stayton high school.  She received her nursing degree from Linn Benton and had worked for hospice an Kaiser home health as a registered nurse.  She moved to the Portland Metro area in 2006.  She was married to David Sherman in Aumsville in 1976, they later divorced. She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting, stained glass, shopping, and was a sports car enthusiast. Teresa is survived by her sons, Jordan Sherman of Lyons, Tyler (Crystal) Sherman of Sublimity; daughter, Reina Sherman of Portland; mother, Pearl Bruton of Lyons; sisters, Linda Bruton of Salem, Sharon Erickson of Minnesota; brother, Andrew Bruton of Portland; grandson, Dylan Sherman of Sublimity. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Allen. She loved her dogs and wishes memorial contributions be made to the Oregon Humane Society or Pancreatic Cancer Research. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 13th at 1:00 pm at Fox Valley Cemetery in Lyons. A reception will follow. Arrangements by Weddle Funeral Services, Stayton,OR.
