Teodolo Gutierrez Pinedo

TEODOLO  GUTIERREZ PINEDO April 20, 1975 – April 23, 2011 Salem, Oregon Teodolo Gutierrez Pinedo was born in San Miquel,  Zacatecas, Mexico.  He was the son of Gilberto and Lidia Gutierrez.  He attended Central High School in Independence, having left school  early to help his father work to support the family. Teodolo was married to Gema L. Rojas on Oct. 9, 1999 in Salem and they lived in the Waldo Hills area since 2001.  He was a Christmas tree farmer for Holiday Tree Farms for the last 20 years.  He loved taking family trips to the Oregon Coast and enjoyed teaching his son, Gregorio, Christmas tree farming and drives through the country together. He is survived by his wife, Gema; children, Gregorio Gutierrez, Sofia Belen Gutierrez, Lucia Belle Gutierrez; brothers and sisters, Gilberto Gutierrez Jr., Sandra Toro, Alejandro Gutierrez, Rigoberto Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez, brother and sister-in-laws; Laura Rojas, Yaddira Rojas, Uriel Castaneda, Adriana Gutierrez, Sabino Toro, Sheila Crazybull. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28th from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm with Rosary following at 7:00 pm at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 29th at 11:00 am also at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Angel.  Vault interment following at Union Hill Cemetery in Sublimity.
