Suzanne Staiger

Suzanne was born on November 3, 1955, in McMinnville, Oregon to Donald and Linda (Putnam) Hampton. Growing up in McMinnville she attended McMinnville High School and graduated in 1974. Throughout her life she would live in McMinnville, Dayton and Salem. Suzanne would  work as babysitter, at the Statesman Journal and later at a coffee shop where she would meet the love of her life, Clyde Staiger. They met first, while talking on the phone and later in person at the coffee shop she worked at. They would marry in 1999 in Moscow, Idaho. Together, they enjoyed spending time with family, taking trips to Lincoln City but most of all just being together was important. Suzanne loved clothing shopping, reading James Patterson mystery novels, but most of all adored her family and spending time with them. She loved being a grandma and spoiling her grandchildren. She passed away on August 16, 2021, at age 65 in Salem, Oregon. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Clyde Staiger; children, Jason, Patrick and Kelsey; grandchildren, Cierra, Owen, Gavin, Kinsley; siblings, Patty, Lorie and Dawne.
