Susan Joy Kline, born on December 3, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, was a remarkable woman whose life touched many hearts. On August 27, 2024, she passed away, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and love.

Susan was the beloved daughter of Roy Nelson and Joyce Stirling. Growing up in Dallas, she developed a strong sense of empathy and a desire to care for others. Her passion for nursing led her to pursue a master’s degree in the field, and she dedicated herself to healing and comforting those in need.

On May 26, 2007, Susan married Dennis Kline in Fair Oaks, California. Their union was a testament to enduring love and companionship. Together, they weathered life’s storms, sharing laughter, tears, and countless cherished memories.

Susan was an active member of her supportive and loving church family through the Seventh-day Adventist community. Her faith was unwavering, and she found solace in worship, fellowship, and prayer. She sang in the church choir for two decades, her voice lifting hearts during Sunday services.

Beyond her nursing career, Susan had a creative spirit. Quilting was her passion—a way to weave love and warmth into every stitch. Her quilts adorned homes and brought comfort to friends and family. Susan also enjoyed fishing and made sure at every election she had a vote.

Susan’s siblings—Martha Morgan, Linda (Bernie) Ayling, John Nelson, and Barbara (Boyd) Cryer—were her pillars of strength. Their shared memories, laughter, and occasional squabbles formed the fabric of their family tapestry. Susan also considered her nephews, Drake Morgan (Daniella Moreno) and Ryan Morgan, as her own children.

Susan was predeceased by her parents and her brother Tom Nelson. Susan Kline’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her—a legacy of kindness, faith, and the belief that love endures beyond this earthly journey.
