Steven Edmund Fowler

Steven Edmund Fowler was born on April 27, 1961, in Roseburg, Oregon to John "Ed" Edmund Fowler and Patricia Jean (Almond) Fowler. His family would live in Albany, Oregon from 1963 until 1971 when they moved to Newberg, Oregon. Throughout his life, Steven always had a strong drive for work.  As an 8-year-old he had a newspaper route, he then worked at the family-owned Newberg Arctic Circle from ages 13-16. He would live in Newberg from 1971-1993, when he moved to Salem.

Starting at the age of 16, he was old enough to get into the automotive industry. Steven worked for Chevrolet dealerships and after 33 years, he retired from Power Chevrolet in Sublimity in 2018. In 2014, he moved from Salem and made his home in Stayton, Oregon until 2017 and then to Sublimity until his passing.

When not working, Steven enjoyed RVing at the Pacific Coast and McKenzie River, he loved buying cars from the time he was 16. He also loved his customers who became lifetime customers and friends. Steven was a person that always made sure that his family and loved ones were well taken care of and safe. He will be greatly missed.

On March 2, 2022, Steven passed away in Mount Angel, Oregon at age 61. He was preceded in death by his father, John "Ed" Edmund Fowler and mother, Patricia Jean Fowler. He is survived by his sister, Susan Kastel; nephew, Jordan Kastel; niece, Madison Kastel and great nephew, Rowen Kastel.
