Stephanie Gene Luckini was born on January 14, 1995, in Salem, Oregon to David and Jennifer (Hayes) Luckini. Stephanie would grow up in the Santiam Canyon/Stayton area and attend Stayton High School with her two sisters, Ashley and Krysten. From a small child, Stephanie was well liked and was never afraid to share her opinion.
Stephanie was not much for school early on, but later in life found a passion for horticulture. She would attend college at Linn Benton and later transfer to OSU where she was set to graduate with her bachelor’s degree in the fall. She was on the honor roll and dean’s list while attending school. Stephanie was incredibly diligent and focused on graduating from college.
While attending school, she worked at Linn Benton Community College and the last 4 years was a viticulture specialist at Willamette Valley Vineyards. She loved her job, which included checking the sugar content of the grape and really thrived learning the entire wine making process.
On March 29, 2021, Stephanie married Christopher J. Woolley in Portland, Oregon. Stephanie was devoted to Chris through his cancer diagnosis and treatments and in March of 2022 he lost his battle to cancer.
Stephanie would love on her fur babies, Sparrow and Cyrus, they were her pride and joy. She loved animals and people. Her best days were spent outside enjoying nature and beautiful places she could visit. One of her favorite things to do was hike to various waterfalls.
But most of all Stephanie loved her friends and family. She was the peacemaker and always wanted others to get along and be happy.
On July 16, 2022, Stephanie along with her friend Michael Carroll, Jr. left this world much too early leaving many loved ones with broken hearts.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher J. Woolley. She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Luckini; father, David “Tony” Luckini; sisters, Ashley Luckini and Krysten Luckini and her nieces and nephews, Allison, Chloey, Garion and William; granny, Janice Hayes; grandm,a Darlene Luckini; aunt, Ronda Thurston; uncles, Richard Hayes, Randy Luckini, Danny Luckini, and Rick Luckini. In addition to her beloved fur babies, Sparrow and Cyrus.
A celebration of life will be held at Willamette Valley Vineyards on September 10, 2022 at 2pm
It will be a time to remember, reflect and celebrate our beautiful daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a scholarship in honor of Stephanie is set up in her name with OSU
