Shirley Jean Preuitt

Shirley was born on November 9, 1928 in Glendive, Montana to Bert and Edith Rogers. They moved to Butte, Montana and later McMinnville, Oregon. She met Kenny Warnock and they married in 1945. Together, they had 3 children; Nancy, Peggy and Sally. Shirley was a wonderful mother and her daughters were her life. She also was a talented cook and baker who made the best cookies, cakes and the very best pies. Shirley worked outside the home and had a career with Marion County, first starting out in the tax office and later working in the assessor’s office to which she retired from in 1995 as a deputy assessor. She married Bill Preuitt in November of 1991 and they have been married for almost 27 years. Shirley passed away on October 12, 2018 in Salem, Oregon. She will be remembered for her good sense of humor and amazing laugh that brought so many people around her joy. She is survived by her husband Bill Preuitt; daughters, Nancy (Dale) Peirce, Peggy (Stan) Ratcliff, Sally (Mike) Troutt; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
