Sherrie Lee Powell

Sherrie Lee Powell was born July 19, 1946, in Long Beach, California, to Gerald Lee and Bonnie Mae (Nelson) Smith. She met D. Jack Powell and the two were married in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on May 31, 1994. Sherrie was an incredibly talented photographer, earning several awards over the years. Sherrie passed away September 2, 2021, and was preceded in death by her daughter Denise McCormick (Butts) of Spokane, Washington who was murdered in 2004. She is survived by her husband, Jack Powell, of South Beach, OR; children Moneeca Stuteville of Coeur d’Alene, ID, Sonja Barstad-Maybee of Girard, OH, Dan (Julie) Powell of Spokane WA , Debi (Larry) Vaughan of Spokane, WA, and Dawn (Rex) Powell-Bewley of Spokane, WA; 12 Grand Children; and 11 Great Grand Children In Lieu of flowers please donate toLutheran Community Services NorthwestLCSNW - Donation Lockbox #1034PO Box 35146Seattle WA 98124-5146
