Sharon Lucye Hand

Sharon L. Hand October 10, 1931 August 19, 2010 Born in Mills, Nebraska Sharon moved to Canby as a child and then to Portland where she graduated from Roosevelt High School.  She built a successful career becoming a supervisor at Leupuld & Stevens, where she worked for 22 years.   She married Alfred Hand on April 16, 1982.  Upon retirement they built a home together at the Coast and moved there in 1990.   She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading about the lives of pioneer women. She also enjoyed gardening, hunting, traveling, exploring the Southwest.  Sharons family was always her highest priority and greatest joy.  we will cherish happy memories of many family gatherings, holidays and vactions.   She is survived by husband, Al Hand of Stayton, sons; Dan Lawyer of Sandy, David Lawyer of Happy Valley, daughters; Kathy Gebe of Portland, Charlene Grubb of Portland , stepsons: Mike Hand of Tigard, Terry Hand of Hillsboro, 12 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.   Private family services will be held.  Arrangements by Weddle Funeral Services Online condolences to Weddle-Funeral.com
