Sharon Louise Beard

Sharon Louise Beard was born in Salem, Oregon on October 8, 1954 to Ollie and Phyllis (Timm) Muise. She grew up in Mill City and attended Santiam High School. Sharon would graduate from Santiam High School with the Class of 1972.  Sharon was a huge football and golf fan. She also enjoyed going camping and finding new adventures wherever she could. Those adventures lead her to live in various areas of Oregon, California and Nevada. Eventually Sharon settled in Central Oregon and Newport, Oregon, following her marriage to the love of her life, Richard Beard, who passed on March 26, 2016. Later in life, Sharon was seldom seen without her two trusty chihuahuas, Colby and Woody.  In the early hour of September 12, 2021, Sharon Louise Beard passed away peacefully at Providence Medical Center due to a chronic condition. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and husband (Rick). She is survived by her sons Oliver Kenline, Elton (Kelly) Kenline and Jeffrey Resch (Trisha); daughter Alissa Grant (Buzz); brother Alan (Jeannette) Muise and sisters Denise Hall and Janice (Chris) Williams. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 nieces and nephews and her special Aunt Virginia Blackburn.  In lieu of flowers, Sharon would appreciate donations be made to the Fairview Cemetery Association where many of her family and friends lie.  Services and celebration of life will be held at the Mill City Eagle's lodge on Sunday September 26 at 1:30 p.m. the family will be requiring masks to be worn by all attendees.
