Shannon Leigh Coleman

Shannon Leigh Coleman 09-22-1964 – 10-06-2010 Turner, OR Shannon left us Wednesday morning after battling lung cancer. Born in Albany, OR to Fred & Loretta Dodson September 22, 1964. She graduated from South Albany High School and received an associate’s degree in Business from LBCC. Shannon was a fixture at Mervyns in Albany for over 20 years then joined with Kohl’s as a Department Supervisor for 4 years. Shannon married her High School sweetheart Rick Coleman in 1985 and began their family with the births of their three sons. Shannon enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, playing poker, but mostly being a mother and spending time with family and friends. Shannon leaves behind a loving husband of 25 years, Rick Coleman, and three wonderful sons, Nick of Turner, Brandon of Salem, and Sean of Sublimity. Shannon also leaves behind her mother Loretta Dodson, sisters Cindy and Carrie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Shannon was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be fondly remembered. Viewing will be Friday October 15, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held Saturday October 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Weddle Funeral Chapel.
