Scott Franklin Newton

Scott Franklin Newton, 40, of Stayton, Oregon, passed away on February 20, 2024. He was born on April 27, 1983, in Salem, Oregon, to Paul Franklin Newton and Mary Ann Ahles.

Scott was a proud father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his children, Tenlee Roener and Chatham Newton; his siblings, Paul Newton, Brittany Newton, Mandi Bowen, Samantha Davis, and TJ Ahles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kevin Taylor, and his sister Krystal Newton.

Scott had a passion for collecting coins, fishing, and helping family and friends who needed it. He was always ready to lend a hand, a hug, or a joke. He had contagious charisma and a heartwarming smile that drew people to him. He knew no strangers for long, most became friends after a short time. His bright blue eyes and big heart will be missed by too many to count.
