Sarah Darlene LambertSarah  was born on December 31, 1934 in Moscow, Idaho at a young age she left home to marry and raise a family. Later, she would get her GED and once her sons were grown she would have a career in waitressing. A natural instinct to be a mom, Sarah’s life was dedicated to raising her 5 sons and providing for them the best she could. They always knew that their mom was working hard to take care of the entire family. When she wasn’t working she enjoyed going out, listening to country music and reading. She was also an especially good dancer who enjoyed what she called “honkey tonken”. Sarah had a soft spot for animals and loved to watch Animal Planet. She was a true animal lover who doted over pets that she had over the years.  Throughout her life she lived in Idaho, Kansas, Utah, Washington and most recently Lebanon, Oregon. Sarah was never afraid to tell anyone what she thought and it showed with her brave fight with cancer.  On January 2, 2020 Sarah passed away peacefully at age 85 at Evergreen Samaritan Hospice in Albany. Private graveside services in Peedee, Oregon. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald A. Lambert; sons, David, Ray, Timothy, Mike and George; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren in addition to several extended family members and friends.
