Sally Dawson was born in San Francisco, California to Charles Walter & Dorothy G Dawson on February 20, 1952, she was the youngest of two daughters.
Sally grew up in California, in Marin and Sonoma County for most of her life. She leaves behind her older sister Linda Coulton. The two had many happy times together growing up, riding horses, doing chores around the property with their father. In their teen years, their father taught Sally and Linda how to shingle the sides of their home and paid them $1 an hour each for their labor. That made it not only for a fun summer but taught the sisters skills they would use for the rest of their lives. Sally always had a project going.
Sally moved from Petaluma, California to Turner, Oregon in April 2020 to a small 5-acre ranch where she took care of 2 cows, planted fruit trees, and had a great garden. She loved being outdoors. She was a CPA and graduated from Sonoma State University, with a BA in the early 90’s.
Sally is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Dawson. She is survived by her loving sister Linda Coulton, nephew Charles Nathan Coulton, and his wife Rachel, her grandniece Morgana and grandnephew Peregrin Coulton.
