Sadie Katherine Ambrosek, 18, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on December 2, 2022, in Portland, Oregon.
Sadie was born on July 28, 2004, in Salem, Oregon to Kristian and Michelle (Coots) Ambrosek.
She graduated from Cascade High School in 2022 and began attending college at Chemeketa Community College, where she was pursuing degrees in criminal psychology. Her softball team won the 4A state championship her senior season. She was also a recipient of an AVID award and reached Cadette level in Girl Scouts.
Her hobbies included cosplay, true crime shows, musicals, listening to podcasts, working on Legos, color by stickers and puzzles. She was a talented artist and loved to draw. She was infatuated with opossums, and muscle cars. She had a particular interest in music and loved to attend concerts and enjoyed playing the bass guitar. Spending time with family and friends always made her the happiest.
Sadie lived an alternative lifestyle believing that love was not found in gender but in the connection you found in someone.
Sadie is preceded in death by her grandparents; Kathy and Steve Coots, Papa Larry Ambrosek, Aunt Tracy Luppold and Uncle Shad Pett.
She is survived by her parents, her sister Avrie Ambrosek, her grammie Inez Ambrosek and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
