Rosemary Agnes Lankins

SALEM -- Rosemary Lankins, 89, passed away Jan. 12, 2019. She was born July 1, 1929 in Kelso, WA, to John and Agnes Baranick. She attended Catholic schools and valued her faith. She was a longtime resident of the Willamette Valley after living in Washington and British Columbia. Rosemary enjoyed the Oregon coast, boating on Detroit Lake, fishing, hunting, cooking, country music and bus tours. Rosemary was loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters Theresa Austin (Larry) and Ginny Lankins of Salem, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Claude, two daughters and four siblings. A family graveside service was held at Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton under the direction of Weddle Funeral Service. There will be a reception for residents of Pioneer Village where she spent her last 30 years. Memorial contributions may be made to any church or charity.
