Rosalina Kay Dodge

Rosalina “Rosie” Kay Dodge was born to David and Ruthie (Adams) Dodge on January 17, 1970 in Stayton, Oregon. She lived in the Lyons area all of her life and graduated from Cascade High School. Rosie worked very hard at the many jobs she had including blueberry farms, Bruce Pac, and at Canyon Auto Rebuilders where she detailed and removed parts. She had the eagle-eye that painters hated as her attention to detail would sometimes require a redo of their paint job. Rosie was a very loving person and everyone that knew her loved being around her. She was always there with a helping hand, a hug, or a smile. Rosie loved playing horseshoes and pool and has many trophies to prove it. After a long romance, Rosie married Patrick Austin on September 17, 2017. To demonstrate to her how loved she was, family and friends decided to celebrate her life while she was still with them. The crowd that showed up at St. Patrick’s Church in Lyons was larger than expected and it was a wonderful day. Rosie passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2018. She will be deeply missed by all who know and love her. Rosie is survived by her husband Pat; parents David and Ruthie; children Canon and Echo Richmond; grandson Jyxon; sister Vickie Ramsey; and nephews Jude and Justin Ramsey.
