Rosa was born in Britton, South Dakota on November 30, 1931. Her family moved to Oregon in 1936, where she met Don Schriver at age 5. They would have nine children over the next 14 years, Susan Tripp, Deborah Glass, Donald Schriver, Charles Schriver, Michael Schriver, Joyce Higgins, Ruth Sinsel, Leslie Schriver and Rebecca Riedel.

She spent several years living between Alaska and Oregon finally coming back to Oregon to stay in 1974. In 1977 she added a beautiful baby girl Rosa A. Mendoza to her family making us 10.

Rosa love to cook and over 40 years she would work in several restaurants and owned two of her own. She was known for her pies and cinnamon rolls (they were loved by all). She loved her garden and flowers, crocheting, working puzzles, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

In July 1982, she married Julio Mendoza adding another sister Erlinda Mendoza to our family making us a family of 11 children.

She remained in Toledo for 40+ years, moving to Sweet Home Oregon, in October of 2021 where she lived until she passed surrounded by her children and grandchildren on July 15, 2022. She was preceded in passing by her mother and father, June and Maxwell Todd; two sisters, Carol and Judy; a brother, Lee; two husbands, Julio and Don; and eight grandchildren Athena, Bear, Joseph, Jebadiah, Tracy, Floyd, Violet, and Cristy.

She is survived by her 11 children; one niece Gail whom she thought of as a sister; 49 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; and 20 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous spouses and people who consider her mother and grandmother. She loved each one as her own.

She was loved by so many and will be missed so much.
