In Loving Memory of Ronald "Ronnie" Castleman, Jr.

December 9, 1970 – October 16, 2023

Ronald "Ronnie" Castleman, Jr., a beloved son, husband, father, and friend, departed this world on October 16, 2023, in Falls City, Oregon. Born on December 9, 1970, in Stockton, California, Ronnie was the cherished son of Ronald Castleman Sr. and Anna Gilstrap. He spent his early years in Stockton and Roseburg before settling in the Salem area, where he created a loving family of his own.

He married Lindsey Russell on August 1, 2018 at the Stayton Covered Bridge.

A man of many talents, Ronnie was a skilled plumber by trade, but his true passion lay in working on motorcycles and cars. He could often be found tinkering with engines, reviving old rides, and feeling the exhilaration of the open road. Riding his motorcycles brought him immense joy, and he relished every opportunity to embrace the wind and the freedom of the open road.

Ronnie's warm heart extended to his extensive circle of friends. He was a loyal and dedicated friend to many, that he kept over the years. Many that shared his passion for motorcycles and mechanics.

He was an amazing husband to Lindsey, whom he declared as the love of his life. Their love was a testament to the power of devotion, and their bond was unbreakable. Ronnie's capacity to love knew no bounds, as he wholeheartedly embraced not only his wife but her children as his own.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Castleman Sr., and his sister, Christina Castleman.

Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a passion for life that touched the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, Lindsey Castleman; daughter, Carolyn and step children, Caden (Savannah) Russell, Wyatt Versteeg, Elijah Mackey, and Jacob Mackey. He was also a proud and doting grandfather to David, Micah, Sylas, Jack, and Peyton. Family was at the center of his heart, and his love for them was unwavering. He is also survived by his siblings - Julie Love, Kristal Castleman-Schreenan (Chris), Rocksand Castleman (Mike), Jenny Firmanik, Stephanie, Stacy, and Dawn Castleman, and his countless friends.

In this time of grieving, we kindly request that you extend your support to Lindsey by sending donations to her Venmo @Lindsey-Castleman-1 account to help ease the financial burden of living and medical expenses. Ronnie's kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and we can honor his memory by coming together to support his beloved wife.

Ronnie's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He was a devoted family man, a passionate motorcycle enthusiast, and a dear friend to many. Ronnie's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the joy of living life to the fullest. May he rest in peace.
