Roberta Lynn Strong

Roberta Lynn Strong was born on December 27th, 1967 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Edward Russell Strong and Nancy Ann (Lynch) Strong. Her family rejoiced as she was brought home by her parents in a Christmas stocking! Growing up, Camp Fire was a big part of her life. Her motivated spirit and adhering to Work, Health, and Love led her to receive the Wohelo Award through the organization. She would go on to graduate from Klamath Union High School. Later graduate from Tongue Point Job Corps with certificates in Bookkeeping and Receptionist and was only a couple of credits shy from an Associate degree in Business from Clatsop Community College. During her life, she would work and volunteer in many areas. Notably in Portland working for American Red Cross and the Humane Society thrift store in Salem. Working at the Humane Society was a great passion for her as she loved cats. During tax season Roberta would work for the IRS. In 2008 she started working as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Justice, Division of Child Support. Roberta lived a life close to God. She was always a very giving and companionate person. Limited resources never phased her when it came to charity and helping those in need. Much of the time her help would be unsolicited but welcomed. Roberta passed away on June 29th, 2018 in her home in Salem, OR. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Nancy as well as her sister Connie Marie. She is survived by her sisters Pamela and husband Michael Royer and Vickie, nieces Crysta and husband Garrett Vian and Mariah as well as her great niece, Aeowyn.
