Robert Louis Ritts

Robert Louis Ritts, born on June 13, 1938, in Gillette, Wyoming, to Wilma Ponson and Robert Ritts, passed away on October 18, 2024.

Throughout his life, Bob was known for his warm heart, dedication to friends and family, and unwavering kindness. His journey began in the close-knit community of Gillette, where he made friendships and learned lifelong lessons.

Bob was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting, camping, boating, fishing, and all types of ironworking. He retired from Stevens Equipment after 25 years of hard work with all the boys in the steel shop. Above all else Bob loved spending time with his wife Luann and taking care of their place out in the boonies of Dallas, Oregon.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Luann, who stood by his side through every chapter of their life together, and his beloved daughter, Maegan Cohn, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Robert's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will forever be remembered by his family and friends. His memory lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
