Robert Lee John

ROBERT  LEE  JOHN Sept. 29, 1938 – Sept. 30, 2011 Salem, Oregon Robert Lee John, 73, of Salem passed away on September 30th at Sublimity.  He was born at Chemawa  Indian School in Salem.  He was the son of Clark and Eva John.  He was a member of the Confederated Tribes of  Siletz Indians of Oregon.  He had attended Lane college in California and was married to Nora Kinion on June 29, 1957 in Newport.   He had worked as a diesel auto mechanic. He had served in the US Army having receive an honorable discharge as a PFC –E3 at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He is survived by his daughter, Julie John; son, Robert John Jr. and his wife Pam, of Stayton; daughter, Deeanna Rodiger; brothers Leroy John of Salem, Lindsey John of Redmond, David John of Lapine, Ronald John of Salem; sisters, Elizabeth John of Siletz, Gylene Jones of Siletz and Josephine Gonzales of Salem;  4 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren. At the  request of the family  no service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
