Robert Henry Block Stayton, Oregon Robert Henry Block passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the age of 77. Born in Henderson, Nebraska he moved to Dallas in his early teens. He retired from the Salem Post Office after 30 years of service. His hobbies were woodworking, square dancing, fishing And camping with his family. He is survived by his wife Margaret, his children, Robert (Joanne Danzer) Block , Jr, Gales Creek, Nadine (Don) Tuel, Dallas, Jody (Marty) Cade, Redmond, Raymond (Charlene) Block, Stayton, his stepchildren, Ann Gilleran, Salem, Debbie Blades, Silverton, Tim Gilleran, Bend, Maureen (Gary) Bochsler, Scio, Kate (Dick) Heuberger, Sublimity, Teresa (John) Nestor, Belfair, WA, Julie Thibodeau, Redmond, Danette Falgout, Salem, brothers, Abe Block, Minnesota, Dave Block, Kansas, 31 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Sara Block, brother, John Block, 1st wife, Mary Wyscarver Block and stepson, Dennis Gilleran. Rosary is at Weddle Funeral Services, Thursday at 7:00 pm Funeral Service will be Friday, 10:00 am June 12, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Church, Stayton.
