Robert Gene Grace

Robert Gene Grace was born on January 14, 1967 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Earnest Grace and Carol Lorraine Reed. Robert had three siblings Kathy Grace, Robin Selph, and James Quinn Grace. Robert went to Paramount High School and lived in the Los Angeles area till he was 31. Then Robert moved to Turner, Oregon where he spent the rest of his life surrounded by family and his long time girlfriend Kelly Wanner. Robert was a handy man and a “Jack of all trades” he helped fix whatever he could get his hands on, mostly carpentry and mechanic work. He was considered a jokester, making people laugh and feel comfortable around him. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and family, sticking up for them no matter what the circumstances were. Robert’s family meant the world to him and he spent as much time with his niece and nephews Carol, Bobbi, Phillip, Robert, and Kenny. He was also the best great uncle possible to Cassidy and Cash. He was genuinely lovable guy and did not have any enemies. Robert was a “rebel fisherman;” he loved to fish at the Aumsville Pond, but he never had a license and was never asked to show one either. Like any true Californian he wore flip-flops year-round and only switched to work boots when he was forced to.  Robert passed away on September 4, 2020 in Salem, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Carol Lorraine Reed and Robert Earnest Grace. Robert’s infectious laugh and carefree personality will be deeply missed by those he knew and loved.
