Ricky Lynn Padalik

September 14, 1951 April 29, 2012 Stayton, Oregon Ricky was born in Berwyn, Illinois to George and Thelma Padalik.  He graduated from Lemont High School and soon after joined the U.S. Army.  He served in combat in Vietnam. He married Susan E. Frey in 1970.  He was discharged in 1971   The family moved to Stayton, OR in 1977.   He worked as an Electrician.  Golfing was a favorite past time as were horses and building and riding four wheelers.  Interesting conversations were shared with family and friends over coffee.  He enjoyed being a member of the Elks Club.   His closest companion was his dog, Bobo.  He is survived by his daughters; Lisa Carr of Louisiana, Stacy Padalik of Florida, Siblings; Ron Padalik of Downers Grove, Il, Ellen Hunerkoch of Metropolis, Il, Georgene Klimenko of Orland Park, Il, Christopher Padalik of Naperville, Il, Priscilla Waugh of W. Chicago, Il, Step-Children; Shawn Dill of Lebanon, OR, Josh Szymanski of Salem, Phylicia Szymanski of Salem, Brittanie Szymanski of Salem, Grandchildren; Abigail and Alexander, Brittany and Emma.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.  Willamette National Cemetery with Military Honors.
