RAY A. HEARN   19292010 Ray was one of six children born in Huntington Park, CA to Earl Hearn and Leona (Chandler) Hearn.   He attended Grade School and High School in the Huntington Park area.   He lived a short time in San Diego before coming to Oregon.   He spent most of his adult life in the Grants Pass and Williams area.  Upon coming to Oregon he first worked at the Southern Oregon Plywood Mill.  He went on to become a Log Scaler.  He was very involved in 4-H.  He retired early to work on the ranch in Williams where he raised Hereford and Charleigh cattle and Welsh Ponies and Mules,  and he did some logging. His biggest pleasure was driving his mule and later his Welsh pony in competition.  When he moved to Scio in 1994,  his mule came with him and later he added a couple Welsh ponies to his driving string. Locally, he was a life time member of the Scio Buckaroos. He leaves behind his wife, Elise (Bauernfeind) whom he married in 1976;  two daughers, Kimberly Hearn  and RaeJean Hearn;  two step-children,  Tamara Rollins of Williams and David Paisley of Oregon City;  and nine grandchildren. He will be missed by his family all who knew him and loved him. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services
