Randall Landis Cooper was born on September 25, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Randall Lawson Cooper and Glenna Daisy Cooper (Gandy). Randy was raised by his mother Glenna and his step-father Robert Carlson in California. Randy married April Gaye January on October 13, 1979 in Costa Mesa, California. They then moved to the California Central Coast where they raised their son and daughter.  He was a very proud father of his son Christopher Cooper, currently serving in the US Army and his daughter Krystal Trasmondi, currently teaching in South Dakota.Randy had many hobbies throughout his life; he was a member of the Central Valley Quilters Guild in Madera, California and the former president of Babe Ruth Baseball League in Arroyo Grande, California. He was an expert quilter who won many awards for his quilting pieces. Randy retired from teaching and moved to Mill City, Oregon in 2017. He passed on February 18, 2021 in Mill City, Oregon, surrounded by his loving family.   Randy is survived by his wife, April Cooper; children, Christopher Cooper and Krystal Trasmondi; grandchild, Liam Cooper and sisters, Trudi McCafferty and Connie Paul. Randy was known for the twinkle in his eye, brilliant one-liners.  He shared his love of Disney, Star Wars with his wife, children, family, and friends. He will be missed.
