Ralph J. Russo, 61, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 11, 1963, to Francesco and Ann “Joan” Russo, Ralph lived a life marked by devotion to his family, his country, and his passions.
On July 26, 1986, Ralph married the love of his life, Kollette Germond, in Spokane, WA. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two wonderful children, Nicole Norton and Daniel Russo. Ralph was a proud and devoted grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Gabriel Brown, Ezekiel Brown, and Lincoln Norton.
Ralph had a deep love for cooking, often bringing joy to family gatherings with his delicious meals and expert barbecuing. His fascination with military history and passion for baseball were well-known to those close to him. Ralph’s greatest joy, however, was always his family, with whom he shared countless memorable moments.
Ralph served his country honorably as a member of the United States Air Force, both on active duty and in the reserves, exemplifying dedication and patriotism.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kollette; his children, Nicole Norton and Danial Russo; his grandchildren, Gabriel Brown, Ezekiel Brown, and Lincoln Norton; and his siblings, Barbara (Robert) Zubowski, Frank Russo, Anthony (Angela) Russo, and Anne-Marie Russo. Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Francesco “Frank” Russo.
Ralph’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
A celebration of life for Ralph will take place at a later date.
