Ralph "Buz" Gould, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and skilled carpenter, passed away on October 3, 2023, in Monmouth, Oregon. He was born on April 9, 1953, in Lebanon, Oregon, to his parents, Ralph and Patricia (Anderson) Gould. Buz's journey through life was marked by dedication, love, and a strong work ethic.

On October 1, 1974, Buz married the love of his life, Diane Gould, in Keizer, Oregon. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, and their lives were intertwined with countless cherished memories. Diane preceded him in death in 2005, but the love they shared continued to shine in the hearts of their family and friends.

in 1980 they would move to California before returning to Oregon in 1989. For 34 years, he called Monmouth, Oregon, his home, leaving an indelible mark on the community through his unwavering commitment to his craft and the bonds he forged with those around him.

As a carpenter, Buz's talents were admired by all who had the privilege of witnessing his work for 30 years. His hands, guided by a deep passion for the craft, brought to life numerous homes and structures, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship and quality that will endure for generations to come.

Buz is survived by his children, Peter Gould and Krista Collins, who were a source of immense pride and joy in his life. He was a devoted and loving father who offered his guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support to his children.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Andrea Gould, Ashley Gould, Ajani Usher, Anna Collins, and Mary Collins.

Buz's presence will be profoundly missed, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. His dedication to his family, his unwavering commitment to his work, and his ability to forge deep connections with those around him will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life's journey.
