Phyllis Catherine Bolton

Phyllis Catherine Bolton was born in Portland Oregon June 6, 1924 to Uriel and Alice Hooley. Her growing up years were spent in Days Creek, Vida, and Eugene, Oregon and she graduated from Oregon State College in 1954. She had a servant’s heart and expressed her love with acts of self-sacrifice and service through her baking. Her pies were a favorite at church gatherings and her rhubarb cream pie made her famous. She is survived by sibiling: Stephen Hooley. Children: Linda Miller, Kelly Rice, Jennifer Sexton, Tina Dickson. Grand children: Kristofer Provencio, Heather Provencio, Desiree Roderick, Josh Rice, Andrew Dickson, Trenton Dickson, Joesy Ellerbe, Jamie Phinisee, Christina Ultis, Jared Rice, Andrew Daugherty, Jesse Bolton. Great Grandchildren: Deontae Ellerbe, Alyssa Sexton, Tyson Green, Jasmine Roderick, Tatiyana Green, Ayanna Wadman, Jordan Roderick, Aalilyah Sexton, Holden Rice, Ruby Provencio, Ellory Rice, Henry Provencio, Zachariah Roderick, Isaiah Campos, Ina Jo Rice, Josiah Phinisee, and Taggart Rice. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 3rd at the Open Bible Christian Center, 694 Fourth Avenue, Riddle, OR. In leu of the flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riddle Open Bible Christian Center – Phyllis’s Kitchen, Riddle, Oregon.
