Patrick D. Karns

KARNS, PATRICK D. Patrick D. Karns, 73, of Salem, died Dec. 27th in Sublimity. The son of Patrick and Ruby Karns. Patrick attended Northwestern college and Michigan State having earned a Bachelors degree in science. He had worked as a wildlife biologist for Michigan and Minnesota State Wildlife Research. He was married to Ruth Meyer on May 16, 2003 and they made their home in Salem. Patrick was Catholic and enjoyed trains and flying kites, he also enjoyed his travels to Spain. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Salem; daughters, Kathleen Lederle, Mary Elizabeth Brennan and Bridget Rossman; and son, Patrick B. Karns. Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, Oregon.
