Patricia "Patty" Rae Gailey

Patricia (Patty) Rae Gailey (Miller) was born July 12, 1943 in Portland, Oregon to the late Margaret Mae (Cook) and Webster Granville Miller Jr. She was the granddaughter of Oren Gus and Mary Ivaline (Iva) Cook. She attended Tigard High School and graduated in 1960. She has resided in Portland, Bend, Newport and Salem, Oregon. Patty cherished family above all else, and took pride in housing foster kids and working with troubled youth. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and painting. She passed away peacefully on the morning of August 2, 2018. She is survived by her four children: Deborah Lynn Elmer, Richard Scott (Michelle) Elmer, Robert Michael (Alicia) Elmer and Beth Marie (Koby)Brown; grandchildren, Alaina, Nick, Kaitlin, Jason, Chris, Danielle, Ben and Matt; great grandchildren, Alysa, Jesse, Jakob. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be held later this fall. Donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation as she was a two time breast cancer survivor.
