Patricia May Frederic

Patricia May (Cox) Frederic November 10, 1920 – May 8, 2011 (Mother’s Day) Pat was born in Everett, Washington to Walter and Mabel Cox, the oldest of four children. She grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where she met the love of her life, Gordon (Fritz) Frederic. Before they married, she attended Eastern Washington State College. Pat and Gordon lovingly raised a family of four children. She is survived by her sister Polly Calhoun, spouse Walt, children and their spouses, James Frederic, wife Alicia, John Frederic, wife Jean, Susan Craven, husband Michael and Richard Frederic, wife-Diane. Pat’s life always centered around her family which grew to include 10 grandchildren, Steve, Michael, David, Meg, Tricia, Sarah, Eric, Kristen, Jenna and Austin and thirteen great-grandchildren, Danielle, Eric, Ashley, Andrew, Kara, Katie, Hannah, Kayla, Madison, Elizabeth, Jesse, Fisher and Jacob. She was the source of joy and laughter for all those whose life she touched. She passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day, surrounded by her family. Throughout her life and during her last moments on earth, before God called her home, she taught us many lessons, but the most important lessons were to be generous, to forgive, to love and be loved. That love is everlasting and we will miss her so much. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12th from 1 – 8:00 pm at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton, Oregon. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Boniface Church in Sublimity, Oregon on Friday, May 13th, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Interment following at Lone Oak Cemetery, Stayton, OR. The family has designated the American Heart Association for memorial contributions. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
