Patricia “Pat” Jean Glidewell, born on February 8, 1940, in Medford, Oregon, to Dorothy and Carl Pitts, passed away on May, 20, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and creativity.
Patricia graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, California. On February 16, 1963, she married Monty Corral, and together they had two sons, James and Gary. Their 24-year marriage was filled with cherished memories. After Monty’s passing, Pat found love again and married Ralph Glidewell on May 27, 1989.
Pat’s adventurous spirit led her to explore the world. She visited five countries in Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, and embarked on cruises through the Caribbean and the Panama Canal. Her love for travel allowed her to experience diverse cultures and create lasting memories.
Pat had a zest for life. She enjoyed fishing, gambling, and the thrill of winning “the big one.” However, her true passion lay in beading and jewelry-making. Pat’s artistic flair shone through her intricate designs, and her creations brought joy to those around her.
Pat had a soft spot for animals, especially her German Shepherd dogs and cats. Their companionship provided comfort and warmth throughout her life.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Ralph, her sons James (Julie) and Gary Corral, her step-children Dan and Scott Glidewell, and Cori (Russel) Kendall. Her twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren will forever cherish their memories with her. Her niece, Judy (Richard) Simmons, also mourns her passing.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, her niece Donna, and her sisters Carroll and Dolores. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
