Pamela Reddig

Pamela was born on July 4, 1953, in Dallas, Oregon to Clifford and Betty Chastain. She would grow up in Valsetz, Oregon and attend high school there until the town was closed. Pamela would end up graduating from nearby Dallas High School. She would meet and marry Clifford Reddig in 1974, they would later separate.

She would focus most of her energy in life by being a mother to her two sons, Michael and Leslie. After her children were born and raised, Pamela always kept a goal to get her college education. She would attend Western Oregon University and receive a bachelor’s degree in early childhood intervention. However, she was never able to utilize her degree due to severe health issues.

Her son would move her to Salem so she could be closer to him and the last 10 years she lived in Sublimity at Marian Estates. Pamela enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and lots of puzzle books.

Pamela passed away on May 26, 2022. She will be remembered for her quiet nature and tender heart.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Chastain and Leslie Reddig; sisters, Rebecca Drake and Janet Berg; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
