In Loving Memory of Pamela Ann Fisher
Pamela Ann Fisher, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 71. She was born on May 18, 1952, in San Bernardino, California, to her parents, Gwendolyn June Gardner and Roy H. Williams.
Pam grew up in San Bernardino, California, with her sister, Debi Pico. She later resided in Anaheim, California, before moving to Oregon in 2006. As a teen, Pam was inducted into the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, reflecting her commitment to community and service.
Pam married her first husband, Michael Dale Scheer, in 1971 and had one child: Tamara Denise Scheer. After the two divorced in 1974, Pam met and married Jerry J. Fisher in 1976, with whom she had three more children: Jennifer Jayne, Deborah Ann, and Curtis Robert Fisher. Pam’s legacy lives on through her children, who meant the world to her.
Her heart further expanded as she became a grandmother to Brittany and Crystal (children of Tamara and Jason Whittle), Jenza, Zayne, and Zayla (children of Jennifer and Zach Williams), and Eli, Nolan, Timothy, Chloe, and Claire (children of Curtis and Celene Fisher).
Later, she welcomed great-grandchildren into her life: Hailey and Jamie (children of Brittany and Blaed Easter), and Charlotte, Savannah, and Colter (children of Crystal and Travis Finster).
Most recently, she was reunited with her first child, a daughter she had to give up for adoption, Colleen Charland, which filled her heart with joy because she always wished to know and find her. Pam’s love and warmth extended through the generations of her family.
Throughout her life, Pam worked a variety of jobs in the healthcare field, including pacemaker assembly technician and medical records secretary. She was also a dedicated homemaker, where she lovingly cared for her family.
Pam had a zest for life and a host of hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of reading, coloring, and solving puzzles. Her musical passion was classic rock, with a special place in her heart for The Rolling Stones and enjoyed singing and dancing at their concert. Pam found serenity by the beach and spent countless hours watching her favorite shows and movies like, "I Love Lucy," “The Parent Trap,” and “Twister.” Her cute and infectious laughter and ever-present smile illuminated the lives of those around her.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn June Gardner, and her first husband, Michael Dale Scheer. While we mourn her passing, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with all who knew her.
Pam’s memory will forever be cherished in our hearts, and her legacy will continue through the love and laughter she brought into the lives of her family and friends. She leaves a profound void that will be deeply felt but will also serve as a reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived.
